Kat got my sister started on buttons, so I'm posting here.

So far, from Ruth (sister) (in November)

And Kat agreed to let me post what she'd been doing in this vein also...  We always like what others do don't we Smiley

I actually saw some buttons on a coat this week that were along the same lines.  They were at least 3 " in diameter.  The coat was a stand-out because it was short, with a hood  and  full in the back.  The girl was a  rather tall redhead so she wore it was style and the very large buttons were a stand out.  I will have to say it was a classy look and she could pull it  off.   I wanted to go up and question her but of course I didn't.  I am guessing she made the coat.  It seemed to me that the paisley lining of the coat was woven over the button............LINDA

As some one who has seen a lot of these in person. I can easily say the pictures are beautiful but pale in comparison to the actual button. These are amazing feats! Each button is it's own piece of art. They are so intricate and exacting. This is something I could never do but completely appreciate and am amazed with each new creation.
